We offer 3 types of work/study training programs: full-time or work/study professional training programs, and apprenticeship contracts.
You can view our offers and apply on the Total Careers website. You can also configure an automatic alert based on these different types of program/contract (see the “Creating an automatic alert” section of this FAQ).
The professional training programs aim to help young people aged under 26 and jobseekers aged 26 years and over to enter or re-enter the workforce. They enable them to acquire a vocational qualification:
- Full-time professional training program: you are a company employee taking advantage of a training program during your work hours. The maximum length of this program is 12 months.
- Work/study professional training program: you divide your time between your company job and your educational institution according to a defined schedule. The length of this program varies from 6 to 24 months depending on your training course. You must obtain permission from the school.
Apprenticeship contracts enable young people aged 16 to 25 to receive training that leads to a qualification. The apprentice divides his or her time between school and the company according to a defined schedule. Their lengths vary from 12 to 36 months depending on the training course.
